About SANOR

SANOR is a research and advisory firm for the private healthcare market. Clinic operators and healthcare enterprises use our research and advisory work to understand their markets, lower patient acquisition costs, and increase patient lifetime value. Our mission is to help private healthcare companies grow. As demand for our work increases, we are expanding our research and advisory practices.

The Role

The Growth team is responsible for SANOR’s own sales and marketing. It brings SANOR’s research to the operators, investors, and industry leaders who follow the private healthcare market. An increasing share of that audience finds information through AI search and answer platforms rather than traditional search.

As an AI Search Strategist, you will improve how often and how accurately SANOR’s research is found and cited across AI search and answer platforms, an area also known as generative engine optimization (GEO). You will audit SANOR’s visibility, improve the structure and technical discoverability of research and service pages, and monitor how SANOR appears in answers to relevant queries. You may also apply this work to advisory clients. You will work closely with the Research and Growth teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Audit SANOR’s visibility across AI search and answer platforms for a defined set of relevant queries.
  • Improve the technical discoverability of SANOR’s website, research, and service pages.
  • Improve content structure and entity information so research is cited accurately.
  • Work with Healthcare Research Analysts to structure new research for discoverability and citation.
  • Monitor how SANOR and its research appear in AI-generated answers.
  • Build prioritized optimization plans and repeatable visibility reporting.
  • Support visibility audits and optimization work for advisory clients where relevant.

What Success Looks Like

  • SANOR research is cited more often and more accurately across a defined set of queries.
  • Referral traffic from AI search and answer platforms grows.
  • Visibility improvements lead to measurable subscriptions and inquiries where tracking allows.
  • Reporting clearly separates real progress from platform fluctuations.

What You’ll Bring

If you meet the minimum requirements, we encourage you to apply. Preferred qualifications are a bonus.

Minimum requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in SEO, with strong technical and content experience.
  • Practical experience testing visibility and citation in AI search and answer platforms.
  • Experience with structured data, entity optimization, and technical site audits.
  • Experience building visibility reporting and measuring results over time.
  • The judgment to set realistic expectations about what can and cannot be controlled on third-party platforms.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience optimizing research, publishing, or B2B content.
  • Experience working with healthcare or other regulated industries.
  • Experience running visibility work for clients at an agency.

The final salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Candidates based outside the United States may request the range for their location during the interview process.
